President
Apparel Production Manager
As President of The Awards & Frame Company, Vickie oversees the day-to-day operations of the business while also serving as our Human Resources Manager and Apparel Production Manager. Her strong leadership, organizational skills, and commitment to customer satisfaction help ensure that every customer receives exceptional service and a quality product.
Outside of the company, Vickie works in healthcare as a CT Technologist, where she continues to make a positive impact through compassionate patient care. She is also a former member of the Namozine Fire & EMS Department in Dinwiddie County, reflecting her lifelong dedication to serving others and giving back to the community.
Whether she's helping customers, supporting our team, or managing production, Vickie brings professionalism, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for excellence to everything she does.
Scott Oldmixon
Vice President
Operations Manager
Scott Oldmixon serves as the Vice President and Operations Manager of The Awards & Frame Company, where he oversees daily operations, production, sales, and business development. With more than 30 years of experience in the awards, engraving, picture framing, and promotional products industry, Scott is passionate about delivering exceptional craftsmanship and outstanding customer service.
Scott founded The Award Shop in 1995 and built it into one of the Tri-Cities' leading recognition and custom framing businesses. After selling the company in 2015, he returned in 2026 to lead the next chapter of its growth, expanding its capabilities in promotional products, apparel decoration, custom woodworking, laser engraving, signs and banners, and corporate recognition.
Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Vickie. His hobbies include fly fishing, kayaking, hiking, camping, mountain biking, scuba diving, woodworking, and exploring new technology. He is committed to continuous learning and believes that building lasting customer relationships through quality products and exceptional service is the foundation of every successful business.
Brandi
Sales & Production
Brandi Harrison joined The Awards & Frame Company in 2026 and quickly became an integral part of our team. As our Lead Production Specialist in the Awards Department, she is responsible for producing a wide variety of custom awards, plaques, trophies, engraved gifts, and recognition products while ensuring every order meets our high standards for quality and craftsmanship.
In addition to her production responsibilities, Brandi assists customers with product selection, order coordination, and sales, helping bring each customer's vision to life. Her attention to detail, positive attitude, and commitment to excellent customer service make her a valuable resource for both our customers and our team.
Whether she's creating a one-of-a-kind award or assisting a customer with a special project, Brandi takes pride in delivering products that celebrate achievements and create lasting memories.
Trish
Picture Framer
Trish leads our Picture Framing Department, bringing more than 24 years of professional custom framing experience to The Awards & Frame Company. Since 2003, she served as the Framing Manager at Michaels in Colonial Heights, where she earned a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship, creative design, and outstanding customer service.
Throughout her career, Trish has helped customers preserve and display their most treasured memories, from family heirlooms and military memorabilia to artwork, jerseys, diplomas, photographs, and keepsakes. Her eye for design and attention to detail ensure that every project is both beautiful and built to last.
Whether assisting customers with selecting the perfect frame and mat combination or expertly crafting each piece by hand, Trish is passionate about creating custom framing that tells a story and protects what matters most. Her decades of experience and commitment to quality make her an invaluable member of our team.
Heather
Customer Service & Production
Heather is an important member of The Awards & Frame Company team, serving in both Customer Service and Production. She is often the first friendly voice customers hear on the phone and one of the first faces they see when they visit our showroom. Her welcoming personality and commitment to excellent service help ensure every customer has a positive experience from start to finish.
Heather enjoys assisting customers with placing orders, answering questions, and guiding them through the ordering process. Behind the scenes, she also supports our production team by helping prepare, organize, and complete customer orders with care and attention to detail.
Whether she's helping a customer find the perfect product or assisting with production to keep orders moving, Heather's positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dedication to customer satisfaction make her a valued member of our team.
Jennifer
Promotional Products Account Manager
Jennifer joined The Awards & Frame Company in 2026 as a Promotional Products Account Manager, bringing enthusiasm, creativity, and a customer-first approach to every project. She works closely with businesses, schools, churches, nonprofits, and community organizations to help them find the perfect promotional products for branding, recognition, fundraising, and special events.
With access to millions of promotional products—including custom apparel, drinkware, office supplies, bags, awards, and unique giveaway items—Jennifer enjoys helping customers discover creative solutions that fit their goals and budget. She is committed to making the ordering process simple, enjoyable, and successful from concept to delivery.

Elizabeth
Promotional Products Account Manager
Elizabeth joined The Awards & Frame Company in 2026 as a Promotional Products Account Manager, where she helps businesses, schools, churches, municipalities, and community organizations find creative products that strengthen their brand and leave a lasting impression. From custom apparel and drinkware to event giveaways and employee recognition items, she enjoys helping customers select the perfect promotional products for every occasion.
In addition to her role with our team, Elizabeth serves as the Programs Director for the Colonial Heights Parks & Recreation Department, where she plans and coordinates programs and events that enrich the local community. Her experience in event planning, organization, and customer service gives her a unique perspective when helping clients choose products that make their events successful.
Kirk
Custom Woodworking
Kirk leads the Custom Woodworking Department at The Awards & Frame Company, where creativity, precision, and craftsmanship come together to produce one-of-a-kind products. From custom plaques and engraved wooden awards to personalized gifts, signs, and specialty projects, Kirk takes pride in transforming ideas into beautifully crafted pieces that customers will treasure for years to come.
A proud United States Army veteran, Kirk brings the discipline, dedication, and strong work ethic he developed during his military service to every project he undertakes. His commitment to quality and attention to detail have made him an invaluable member of our team.
Since joining The Awards & Frame Company, Kirk has been instrumental in rebuilding and expanding our custom woodworking capabilities. His knowledge, craftsmanship, and willingness to tackle new challenges have helped grow one of the company's fastest-expanding product lines.
Outside of the shop, Kirk enjoys woodworking, scuba diving, and outdoor adventures. Whether he's creating something new in the workshop or exploring the outdoors, he approaches everything with enthusiasm, creativity, and a passion for excellence.
