Attention Customers

On May 29, 2026 Lazy Hound Industries, DBA The Awards and Frame Shop is officially closed.

On June 1, 2026, Scott and Victoria Oldmixon reopened the original business, The Award Shop, Inc.  The busienss was sold in 2015 to Josh and Jamie Smith which later sold the company to Darryl and Patricia Cheek.  Unfortunately, in July 2025, Patricia passed away leaving.  After almost a year, Darryl made the decision to either sell or close the business.  

In the spring of 2026 an agreement was made for Scott and Vickie to purchase the remaining equipment and reopen the original company.  Moving forward, The Award Shop, Inc. will continue to provide the same products and services that this location has become know for over the years as well as making some major changes to the look and feel of the the business.  We anticipate that by the fall of 2026, all of our renovations and changes will be complete and we will be fully operational with all of the products and services that we intend to offer.  

We ask that any customers that have outstanding orders with the old company contact us so that we may try to assist you moving forward.
