On May 29, 2026 Lazy Hound Industries, DBA The Awards and Frame Shop is officially closed.

On June 1, 2026, Scott and Victoria Oldmixon reopened the original business, The Award Shop, Inc. Orders received prior to May 29th will be completed by Darryl and available for pickup by the due date given at the time the order was placed. The Award Shop, Inc. will help complete orders in any way we can during the transition. Moving forward, The Award Shop, Inc. will continue to provide the same products and services that this location has become know for over the years.

Scott Oldmixon was the founder of The Award Shop in 1995 and grew the business for over 20 years. His wife Vickie joined the company in 2012 and helped run the company until it was sold in 2015. With the unforeseen challenges that the business has faced in recent times, Scott and Vickie have agreed to step back into the awards industry to ensure that our community has a reliable option for the products and services that business has become known for.

Over the next few months there will be challenges and a few bumps along the way . We anticipate this and will work tirelessly to get this business back on track. We also have some exciting changes that will be made to the look and feel of the the business. We ask for your patience and understanding as we work through this transition.
